少女漫画誌「別冊マーガレット」に連載された、くらもちふさこの同題恋愛コミックをおよそ30分のOVA化。同系列の「マーガレット」コミックをOVA化してきた「マーガレットVIDEO」シリーズの最後を飾る作品でもあった。本OVA最大の特色は、原作者の意向によってセリフを無しにして（つまり声優はいない）、要所にのみ字幕でセリフを表示。音楽と効果音だけで演出している。妹尾マリ子は少女小説作家の姉マユ子と暮らす少女。五島というボーイフレンドがいるマリ子だが、彼女の内気な性分と五島のわがままな性格もあって、二人の仲はどこかちぐはぐ。ある時、住んでいるアパートがボヤ騒ぎを起こしたため、大家の息子の部屋で暮らすこととなった妹尾姉妹。だがそこは超売れっ子モデル＝夏目の部屋だった。やがて姉の用事で出版社を訪れたマリ子は、モデルをしていた夏目といっしょにグラビア撮影することに。その帰り道に夏目はマリ子に「ホントの恋愛しようよ」と語りかけた……。本作の実制作はマッドハウスが担当。監督や作画監督などを高岡希太郎が手がけている。
